Dia de los Muertos Festival

10/2/2018

Picture
Dia de los Muertos is truly a celebration of life and the beauty of remembering those who have come before us.

Talking about the dead is not something our children often get the space to do, and it is a valuable lesson in honoring those we love while building empathy for others. Seeing our community is full of people who have experienced loss is a common thread that unites humanity throughout time.

Come and enjoy live music and dance, decorate sugar skulls, get your face painted, eat delicious food, enjoy family friendly games and activities, see a screening of Pixar’s Coco, and visit the stunning artistic altar installations created by community members paying homage to los muertos.

Dia de los Muertos Festival
Saturday, October 27th
Jackson Park, Hendersonville

5:30 - 7:30PM Festival
