Las reclamaciones por desempleo vuelven a superar el millón

Los datos de desempleo actualizados del Departamento de Trabajo muestran que un millón de personas solicitaron beneficios por desempleo la semana pasada en los Estados Unidos.

A principios de este mes, el número de nuevas solicitudes semanales de desempleo cayó por debajo de un millón por primera vez desde marzo.

Pero eso no duró ya que el total semanal ha superado el millón ahora por segunda semana consecutiva.

En cuanto a los datos que finalizan el 8 de agosto, el número total de personas que reclamaron beneficios a través de todos los programas fue de más de 27 millones. La cifra fue de sólo 1,6 millones esta vez el año pasado.
