Un nuevo estudio, publicado en la revista PLOS Medicine, mostró que los hispanos y los afroamericanos tienen el doble de probabilidades de dar positivo en la prueba de Covid-19 que los estadounidenses blancos.

Un equipo internacional recopiló datos sobre aproximadamente 6 millones de personas para este estudio, pero no encontró ninguna diferencia en el número de personas que murieron 30 días después de dar positivo por el virus.

Los hallazgos enfatizan la necesidad de encontrar mejores estrategias para contener y prevenir brotes en comunidades de minorías raciales y étnicas en los Estados Unidos.
